jadi bingung neh... T_T
Bingung neh beberapa hari ini… Mulai gak jelas lagi…
Kukira, dengan diangkat permanennya aku, kerjaan jadi lebih spesifik lagi… Settle di piping…
Well, the story’s like this…
First time i was hired as a Mechanical/ Piping Engineer by Mr. R (Singaporean, Boss), was intended to assist Mr. E”s job (Estimator Engineer). So, I’m doing proposal job (on the 3rd floor, proposal dept.). Then as the time passed by, Mr. E seems like got a problem in sharing the job. At first I assumed maybe he’s a kind of person who like to start and finish things by himself. So, I spent most of my day just by reading, browsing, etc…There just a few work for me to do…
boring...
Then come a new Project Manager (PM), he notice that I’m the one who’s not busy at all in this office. Then he asked me to do the Piping Stress Analysis. He generously taught me about this subject, and I’m still learning right now… Learning by working. I thank him for that.
Before I go on, I tell you ’bout departments in my engineering office. At first, detail engineering team and proposal (estimation) team (Pressure Vessel, Piping, Draftmen, Process, E&I, except structural) was placed on the 3rd floor. The 2nd floor was unoccupied, and the 1st floor is for the project engineering and structural engineering.
One day, there’s an order that detail engineering and proposal team should be separated. Detail engineering placed on the 2nd floor, and proposal still in the 3rd floor.
To make sure, I came to Mr. E and asking him whether should I join the PM and doing PSA or what? He said, yes… Then the 2nd floor I moved…
moving to the 2nd floor!
Hence, the 3rd floor was ‘hosted’ by only two engineers… Estimator and Process…
By and by, Mr. R came… Then he wondered why the 3rd floor was empty, only 2 engineers… So, Mr. B (Asst. Engineer) and I was asked to move again to the 3rd floor…
back to the 3rd floor!!!
Then, the situation became just like the old times… Got nothing to do… Just a few works… And it was bored…
So, I make myself comfy by learning some stuff, browsing, plurking, chatting, blogging, etc…
Thank God we have the internet… If we’re not, it would be totally black-out!
I hope things got better…
